Our Curriculum

Our comprehensive Montessori curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs and interests of each child, promoting intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.

The Montessori Method

Montessori is an interactive, hands-on approach to learning that nurtures a child's creativity, independence, and love for learning. Our carefully prepared environments and dedicated teachers empower children to explore, discover, and grow in a supportive atmosphere. Dr. Maria Montessori pioneered the Montessori Method in the early 1900s, opening her first school in Rome in 1906. Her method is grounded in scientific observations of young children and is known for its "whole child" focus, addressing social, academic, physical, and psychological development.

Our son started at Creative World Montessori at 18 months in the Young Toddler class and we could not be happier with the experience. We love this school!  Both of our kids are thriving in the 3 - 6 classroom and our oldest child adores the Kindergarten Enrichment program.  The teachers are lifelong educators who go above-and-beyond to meet the needs of each child -- it's clear they love what they do.  Finally, we appreciate the many ways the school keeps parents' needs in mind, too.  They invite us into the school for curriculum nights, conferences, and special events, and the flexibility is paramount.  Families can choose full day or half day with a dropoff / pickup time that works best for the family.  We are so grateful to have discovered Creative World!  -- Allison and David Baron

We have had an amazing experience at Creative World Montessori school. It’s simply the BEST school around the area!  My children have been in the Toddler Program with Ms. Debbie and I can only say that she’s wonderful with the kids.  We have also been part of the all day programs with Ms. Myla and it’s a fantastic curriculum for children 3-6 years old.  There is also an unbelievable Kindergarten Enrichment program taught by Ms. Sally and there’s no program like this in the area. The things the children learn as part of the Kindergarten Enrichment program are simple remarkable! Creative World Montessori is a gem in La Grange and surrounding neighborhoods! We started sending our son to Creative World Montessori shortly after his 2nd birthday. Going right into Ms Debbie's class, he thrived from the start.  We've found CWMS to be so much more than a daycare environment, but rather a nurturing and educational setting where the kids learn to socialize, be good people and all the while practicing independence confidently.  This is all due to the teachers demonstrating care, attention and experience.
